- Comprehensive Youth and Adult Mentoring Services

  • Provide comprehensive group and individual youth mentoring services promoting healthy life skills to at-risk youth ages 14 to 21.  Additional services include group mentoring events with practical application of daily-living and relationship skills, crisis intervention, resource and referral, and long-term follow up to address individual needs.  Mentoring events encompass community service projects, sports events, and other life enrichment experiences.
  • Provide comprehensive group and individual adult mentoring services promoting healthy life skills to parents of at-risk youth.  Additional services include crisis intervention, resource and referral, and long-term follow up to address individual needs. (Referrals through County gang-prevention funding are limited to the Probation Department.)

Parent Project

  • Parent Project Class Schedule
  • A 10 to 16-week parent training program designed specifically for parents of strong-willed or out-of-control adolescent children.
  • The curriculum teaches concrete identification, prevention, and intervention strategies for the most destructive of adolescent behaviors (poor school attendance and performance, alcohol and other drug use, gangs, runaways, and violent teens).

Strengthening Families Program

  • The Strengthening Families Program is a 14-session, science-based parenting skills, children's life skills, and family life skills training program specifically designed for high-risk families. Parents and children participate in SFP, both separately and together. Group Leader Manuals contain a complete lesson for every session. Parents' and children's Handbooks/ Handouts are also provided for every session.
